Viton Tubing FKM Rubber Hose, Viton Tube

Viton Tubing made from 100% pure Viton. Viton is a high performance synthetic rubber. The tubing offers a wide range of both temperature and chemical resistance Viton Tube is used in applications such as appliances, chemical transfer, hot lubrication feeds, o-rings and seals, fuel and oil lines, cable jacketing, exhaust lines, solvent transfer, and peristaltic pumps.

The main attribute of Viton Tubing is its resistance to a wide range of chemicals at elevated temperatures. It will withstand –30°F to 400°F continuously and higher temperatures. Viton Tube is manufactured to handle chemicals such as aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons (carbon tetrachloride, benzene, toluene, and xylene), oils, fuels, lubricants, and mineral acids. Black in color, it works well outdoors in sunlight and ozone.
Viton Tubing possesses the high resiliency of an elastomer as well as the good mechanical properties of conventional synthetic rubbers. The heat and chemical resistance factors, however, go far beyond the range of other rubbers. It offers one of the widest ranges of fluid and chemical resistance of any commercial rubber.

Viton Tubing is a highly chemically resistant elastomer that can be economically fabricated into converted products such as: encapsulated o-rings, chemical hose and various sealing devices for extreme applications in both prototype and production runs.

  • Viton Tubing exhibits excellent physical properties and low compression set, essential for good sealing performance. A high fluorine polymer, Viton tubing also offers good low temperature flexibility.
  • The outstanding resistance of Viton to aggressive chemical media its low compression set and good low temperature flexibility make it ideal for reliable long term sealing in tough chemical process, petrochemical and marine applications
